Corporate Health Services was developed at the request of existing clients of our sister company, Public Safety Health and Wellness®, which has was founded in 2002. Already aware of the excellence available to Fire and Law Enforcement Departments, clients requested the same opportunities for immediate mobile health services on site for the corporate world.
The background investigative division of Corporate Health Services, along with our drug testing and DOT exams, are the most rapidly growing portions of our business. CMM puts your mind at ease knowing that we take care of your employees and their health related issues. When we have them in our charge, they are healthy and safe and able to represent you and your company in daily tasks as well as on the road.
William B. Lovett, M.D.
Dr. Lovett graduated from the University of Toledo College Of Medicine in 1988, and from the St. Vincent Medical Center/The Toledo Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency program in 1991. He then moved to Cincinnati with his family and joined Qualified Emergency Specialists as an Emergency and Occupational Health Physician –where he remained until 2002. During this time he served as Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine and Trauma Services at Mercy Hospital Anderson, as well as director and chairman of many hospital committees and organizations. He was Director of Tri-Health Hospital Patient Services Basic and Advanced, and developed their Mobile Intensive Care Unit program from 1998-2001. He has been and continues to serve as Medical Director of numerous EMS systems, and county communications centers since 1993. He was on the Committee and Subcommittee of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Red Cross Rapid Response Medical Assistance Team from 1993 - 2002. He has been Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Good Samaritan Medical Center and Bethesda North Hospital from 1991 – 2002, and continues to be Associate Professor of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
After leaving Qualified Emergency Specialists in 2002, Dr. Lovett started Public Safety Health and Wellness, and Preferred Emergency Specialists, where he continues to serve as President and managing partner of both. Due to the request of several clients, he formed a sister company, Corporate Medical Management, geared toward the medical and employee screening needs of municipalities and businesses. He currently spends most his time serving, contracting with, and helping organizations find creative solutions to their medical, occupational health, and employee background investigation needs. In his spare time he is working on finishing his MBA.
Steve McMahan, M.D. is the co-owner of Public Safety Health and Wellness and is trained and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He serves as the Medical Director of the Fire and EMS system, and the Paramedic training Program that serves Fayette County, Indiana. Dr. McMahan is certified in Exercise Stress Testing and is a member of the National Association of EMS Physicians.
Tod York, PA-C is the newest member of Public Safety Health and Wellness. Tod is a certified Physician Assistant and got his Advanced EMT certificate in the early 1990’s. Tod has a significant background in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Emergency Medicine. He got certified as a ACE Fitness Trainer in 1997 and recently got certified in Exercise Stress Testing.
Stacy Melling, EMT-P is the Program Director of Public Safety Health and Wellness. She has been instrumental in the growth of the company. She is certified as a General Radiographer and as a DOT Drug Screen Technician. She has additional training in Hearing Testing, Spirometry, and Respiratory Fit Testing. |
