The Background Investigative division of Corporate Medical Management, Medical & Security along with our Drug & Alcohol Education, and DOT exams, is growing rapidly. It is closely tied to the Medical portion of the business due to the current and future legal issues facing our clients, new and tighter state legislation, and the new Department of Transportation (DOT) examiner certification regulations are soon to be released by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). These regulations will require every motor carrier and bus driver to have an examination by a certified healthcare provider to determine their medical and physical ability to operate a commercial vehicle using strict federally mandated criteria. These exams will no longer be able to be performed by any medical provider but only those certified by the FMCSA.

Lieutenant Jeff Braley directs the Security Division of Corporate Medical Management. Lt. Braley has an extensive security background as a police investigator and as an expert in internet cyber-crime. He has also been recognized by his peers as ́Investigator of the Year.̀ These qualifications and experience ensure the quality of the operation is well above other background search companies.
Although much of the information used in background investigation is superficially uncovered, it is the human interpretation of this information that is most important and makes Corporate Medical Management-Security Division unique. Many internet background search companies only use automated internet search results that are populated into a standard form and reported without any personal oversight. Unfortunately, this information may have additional meaningful findings that only personal review can uncover. Lt. Braley’s experience sets our service apart by digging deeper and finding those inconsistencies.
Our investigation client list remains confidential. Much of our business is generated from word-of-mouth referrals from our clients and Lt Braley’s associates. Corporate Medical Management -Drug & Alcohol Education Division has a mission to create a system of drug and alcohol testing and training services that will help companies cost effectively promote a drug and alcohol-free environment. The goal at Corporate Medical Management is to help identify and stop this process through education, training and professionally managed drug and alcohol testing programs and policies. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) information is available to include: prevention, intervention, and referral to treatment centers.

Mr. Tom Beckman directs the Drug & Alcohol Division of Corporate Medical Management. Mr. Beckman specializes in on-site drug and alcohol testing. He has managed the Ohio National Guard Substance Abuse Program for over twelve years, which is responsible for the Drug Testing and Prevention Training of over 16, 000 Ohio Guardsmen.
Retired Lieutenant Colonel Tom Beckman retired from Military Service with the United States Army and Ohio Army National Guard after thirty years of service in 2007.
He planned, directed and implemented operations for the Ohio National Guard Counterdrug Task Force and State Substance Abuse Program. Mr. Beckman is a member of Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Intervention Council (ADIC) to the Adjutant General and he manages and facilitates interactions with Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies and Community Based Organizations to ensure execution of goals and objectives. Rounding out his experience with the Government and Military, Tom Beckman also has experience working with Pro Sports and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
